On a board of , Rodawig fired 375,000 chips and Scott Davis put in 1,250,000 chips putting his tournament life on the line.  Rodawig called and the cards were turned up with Rodawig holding for two pair but Davis had flopped a straight with his .  It looked like Davis was on his way to taking the lead in their heads-up match but the river brought the giving Rodawig a full house and the championship.
