And that’s way it is.

The final flight of the 2016 PPC Poker Poker Harrah’s North Kansas City Series Main Event is here.

Day 1D is the last chance for our players to advance to Day 2.  The tournament carries a $50,000 guarantee.  Players will start with 20,000 chips and blind levels will be 30 minutes long on all Day 1 flights and shifts to 40 minute blinds on Day 2.  Registration and re-entry will be open until the start of Level 9.  Play will continue until the 16-minute mark of Level 16 or 10% of the field remaining.  Everyone who advances will return for Day 2 on Sunday at 12 PM.  $10,000 of the prize pool will be set aside for two $5,000 packages to the PPC Aruba World Championship at the Hilton Aruba Resort on November 2nd through the 8th with a $500,000 guaranteed Main Event.

Our winner along with the cash and the PPC Aruba World Championship Package will also win a trip to the PPC Champion of Champions Tournament at Maryland Live! Casino, a pair of Blue Shark Optics glasses and apparel from Kicker Power/Kicker Problems.

After the entry count for Day 1B was amended by one, the total entries in the tournament so far is up to 165.  12 players advanced from the first two flights with Day 1C currently wrapping up play.  Michael Steele led after Friday’s play with 330,000 chips and tonight’s players will look to chase him down.

Last call is on here at Harrah’s North Kansas City.  We’ll see who survives to return for Day 2 tomorrow as our final Day 1 flight is now underway.  Best of luck to all of our players this evening!
