It’s known as the “Heart of America” and today Kansas City takes center stage on the PPC Poker Tour as we begin Day 2 of the PPC Harrah’s North Kansas City Series Main Event.

32 players will return out of the 233 entries in the Main Event.  Day 2’s blind levels will be 40 minutes long and play will resume at the 16-minute mark of Level 16.  24 players will make the money this afternoon.

Our winner will pick up $15,619, a $5,000 PPC Aruba World Championship Package, a trip to the PPC Champion of Champions Tournament at Maryland Live! Casino, a pair of Blue Shark Optics glasses and apparel from Kicker Power/Kicker Problems.  Our top two players will both receive packages to the PPC Aruba World Championship at the Hilton Aruba Resort on November 2nd through the 8th with a $500,000 guaranteed Main Event.

Sean Lindsey will lead the way into Day 2 after putting up the top stack in Day 1D with 425,000 chips.  Day 1B chip leader Michael Steele stands in second with 330,000 chips followed by Thomas Houston in third with 312,000.  PPC Poker Tour Ambassador starts the day in fourth place with 244,000 and Shem Yusuf is fifth with 243,500.  Also in the hunt for the title are Monty Schmidt with 225,500, Pamela Wilson at 162,000 and Steven “Mondo” Fuhrman with 145,000.
