After the completion of an amazing Day 1, Day 2 of the PPC Aruba World Championship is now underway with the $500,000 guarantee easily surpassed.

Play resumes at Level 12 and blind levels are 60 minutes the rest of the way.   The tournament will play until the end of Level 22.  100 players are back in action this afternoon trying to reach Day 3 and play for the top prize of $133,687.  Also, our top four players will also receive a $5,000 PPC Aruba Package for the 2017 PPC Aruba World Championship.

Venezuelan Dorian Rios leads the way into today’s play with 198,000 chips followed by current PPC Season 4 Player of the Year points leader James Sloat with 185,900.  Mike Taylor stands just behind him 185,300 with Joan Sandoval in fourth with 174,600 and Joan Sandoval rounds out the top five with 174,600.

The field is also loaded with top professionals with Christian Harder (136,400), Alex Rocha (106,300), Mike Leah (89,100), Shawn Rice (85,100), Ronnie Bardah (78,100), Mukul Pahuja (58,300) and Ryan Van Sandford (52,300) all still in the hunt for the Main Event title.
