There’s been a massive power shift at the main table, as former chip leader Joan Sandoval and Dorian Rios got involved in the biggest pot that did not involve an all in so far this tournament.

The action started with Rios, in early to middle position, making it 22,000 preflop. Sandoval in the cut-off reraised up to 100,000, a bet which Rios called.

The flop came out , and Rios quickly checked. Sandoval fired a stick into the pot, and Rios called the 100,000 chip bet. The turn brought , and this time both players checked. A banana on the river didn’t change much, and Rios fired 105,000 into the already massive pot. Sandoval hemmed and hawed, but ultimately called. Rios turned over two Queens for the flopped top set, and Sandoval mucked her cards.

Rios risesĀ from the basement thanks to the huge pot, and Sandoval drops back to the pack. Both players currently now sit on about 600,000.
