After the elimination of Joan Sandoval in sixth, we have arrived at the so-called “Aruba bubble.” The top four finishers of this Main Event will all receive $5,000 PPC Aruba packages for next year’s 2017 PPC Poker Tour Aruba Championship. Fifth place will have to settle for just the $32,085 pay day.

Hand 111: Michael Lerner takes the blinds and antes.

Hand 112: John Ott goes all in for 625,000. No takers, and Ott wins.

Hand 113: Stephen Deutsch picks up the blinds and antes.

Hand 114: Michael Lerner opens the action to 105,000. Stephen Deutsch reraises 250,000 on the button. Lerner thinks and chooses to make it 400,000. Stephen declares all in for his 980,000. Michael Lerner, with about 480,000 back but 400,000 already in the pot, then told the table he has Queens to try to elicit a reaction. No real reactions came, and he tanked for a solid minute before finally electing to fold.

Deutsch shows Kings to alleviate Lerner’s fears and the table congratulates Lerner on the spectacular fold.

Hand 115: Deutsch picks up the blinds and antes, this time showing off for the back-to-back premium pairs.

Hand 116: Dorian Rios raises to one blue chip (100,000), and Michael Lerner goes all in for his last 500,000. Rios does not call, and Lerner picks up the pot.

Hand 117: Action folds to John Ott in the small blind, and he makes it 90,000. Stephen Deutsch calls to see a flop, which comes . Ott C-bets, making it 110,000. Deutsch declares all in to apply the pressure back on Ott, who elects to fold. Deutsch adds to his chipstack, up above 1,600,000 now.

Hand 118: Action folds to the blinds, where Deutsch calls. Dorian Rios checks his option, and the flop comes out . Deutsch and Rios both check to see on the turn. Deutsch bets 50,000, a pittance, but he takes it down and wins the button for the next hand as well.
