On the 245th hand of the final table, Stephen Deutsch became the PPC Aruba Main Event champion and PPC Player of the Year and is the first player in tour history to achieve the double championship.

On the final hand of the tournament, Jim Beadnell limped on the button.  Stephen Deutsch raised to 325,000 and Beadnell jammed for 1,345,000 more.  Deutsch made the call with and Beadnell tabled to flip for his tournament life.  The flop came keeping Deutsch in the lead.  The came on the turn leaving Beadnell needing to catch a queen or a ten to stay alive.  But the river was the giving Stephen Deutsch the hand, the Main Event Championship and the PPC Season 4 Player of the Year title.

With the victory Stephen Deutsch takes the title, $133,687, a $5,000 2017 PPC Aruba Package, a pair of Blue Shark Optics glasses, apparel from Kicker Power/Kicker Problem and a spot in the PPC Champion of Champions Tournament at Maryland Live! Casino in December.  For the PPC Player of the Year title, he also wins a buy-in to the 2017 PPC Aruba World Championship and a buy-in to the PPC North America Championship at the Silks Poker Room at Tampa Bay Downs.

Jim Beadnell finishes in 2nd place winning $90,906 and a 2017 $5,000 PPC Aruba Package.
