It was a battle of attrition in the final flight of the PPC Tampa Downs Fall Classic Main Event and Peter Wang won it to take the chip lead for Day 1D.

Wang was one of four survivors in the flight bagging 239,000 chips to lead the way.  Sean Hampson finished in second with 208,500 chips followed closely by Shawn Barnett with 208,000.  Reggie Bautista also put away 164,000 chips to advance to Day 2.

Four players made it out of the flight out of the 40 entries in Day 1D.  Overall, 26 players out of the tournament’s 196 entries will return on Sunday to play for the Main Event title and the three PPC Aruba Packages.  Play will resume at 1 PM on Sunday in the Silks Poker Room at Tampa Bay Downs.
