$500 NLHE Main Event (Re-Entry)
Level 16: 2,000/4,000/500 Ante
Players Remaining: 5

If PPC Poker Tour Ambassador Mark Kroon wants to win the PPC Horseshoe Council Bluffs Series Main Event title, he’s going to have to get through a World Series of Poker Bracelet winner to do it.

2011 WSOP bracelet winner Eric Rodawig pulled down the top chip stack of Day 1B bagging 291,500 chips.  Matt Heldt put away 215,500 for second with Sloan Cownie just behind him at 195,500.  Danny Pham was fourth with 71,000 chips and Matt Hartigan also advanced with 42,000 chips.

For the flight, five more players advanced out of 41 entries.  Overall, the tournament recorded 90 entries in the first two flights with 11 players locking up spots in Day 2 so far.  Two more starting flights remain on Saturday with Day 1C starting at 10 am and Day 1D wrapping things up with a 6 PM start.  Everyone who advances will return for Day 2 on Sunday at 12 PM.

Here are the chip counts for the players who advanced out of Day 1B:

Eric Rodawig – 291,500
Matt Heldt – 215,500
Sloan Cownie – 195,000
Danny Pham – 71,000
Matt Hartigan – 42,000

Congratulations to everyone who advanced to Day 2!

Eric Rodawig
