$500 NLHE Main Event (Re-Entry)
Level 16: 2,000/4,000/500 Ante
Players Remaining: 33

It’s time to crown a new PPC Main Event Champion.

33 players will be back in action this afternoon to play for the PPC Horseshoe Council Bluffs Main Event title.  Levels will be 40 minutes long and play will resume with 15 minutes remaining in Level 16 which was the earliest stopping point of a Day 1 flight.  24 players will make the money this afternoon.

Our winner will be taking home $19,999 plus a $5,000 PPC Aruba Package, a trip to the PPC Champion of Champions Tournament at Maryland Live! Casino, a pair of Blue Shark Optics glasses and apparel from Kicker Power/Kicker Problems.  Our top four players will all receive packages to the PPC Aruba World Championship at the Hilton Aruba Resort on November 2nd through the 8th with a $500,000 guaranteed Main Event.

PPC Poker Tour Ambassador Mark Kroon leads the way from our Day 1 flights with 471,000 chips.  Hot on his heels is WSOP bracelet winner Eric Rodawig with 291,500 and Matt Heldt with 215,500.  Ron King is in fourth with 206,500 chips and Sloan Cownie rounds out the top five with 195,000.  Also looming in the field is WSOP November Niner Dennis Phillips with 103,500.  Also in the Day 2 field are two players from opposite sides of the United States with Californian Whit Brayton at 162,500 and Tampa, Florida resident Ronnie Brown with 97,000 plus Coloradan Ryan Dodson at 51,000.

And with that, it’s time to get the cards in the air as we start the run toward the Main Event title.  Best of luck to all of our players today!
