$300 PLO Black Chip Bounty (Re-Entry)
Level 17: 6000/12000
Players Remaining: Tournament Complete
Only one player gets to collect their own bounty, and this time around it’s Rob Li. An actuary from Philadelphia showed the skills and discipline of a pro, taking a big hit early on the final table and able to weave his way through and rebuild his stack. A couple of big hands in key spots short-handed and the seemingly unstoppable juggernaut that was Michael Hanson ended up losing some chips to Li, and he ran with them.
Lane Phillips in his first ever PLO tournament was keeping the laughter flowing as he ran up his chip stack as much as his mouth. Entering the heads up with a huge chip disadvantage, the disparity only extended as level 16 closed. On the second hand of level 17, Lane Phillips moved in with and Rob Li was priced in to call with Phillips calls for an ace on the flop and gets it but leaves Li with a big wrap. A turned pairs Li giving him even more outs, and the river completes his straight and the tournament.
Congratulations to Event 6 Champion, Rob Li!
