Jon Ryu rode an incredible start to his day to easily cruise to the top chip count of Day 1B of the PPC Champion of Champions Main Event.

Ryu put away 298,800 chips to outdistance the competition and take the overall chip lead in the Main Event.  Tim Weslow mustered 144,300 to finish a distant second followed by Jeff Corby in third with 116,100.  Darrel Connely wound up in fourth with 108,600 and Portia McDaniels finished out the top five with 105,200.

For the flight, 18 players advanced out 65 entries.  32 players have now advanced out of the 139 entries in the first two flights of the tournament on the road to the $75,000 guarantee.  Two more Day 1 flights remain on Saturday with Day 1C getting underway at 11:15 AM and Day 1D starting at 6:15 PM.  Everyone who advances to Day 2 will return to action on Sunday at 12:15 PM.
